Bloody Records Banned by CCP

One time “rightist" writer Kong Lingping from Chongqing,
wrote a memoir entitled Bloody Records,
based on his 20-year detention in a labor camp.

The book is planned to be published overseas, but not
without meddling by the Chinese Community Party (CCP).
The book exposes the history of China’s past 60 years
under the CCP rule, based on Kong’s life experiences.
Please listen to what Kong Lingping has to say.

Bloody Records has three sections.

Part One is about Kong being inhumanly mistreated after being
labeled a “rightist"as a 19-year-old.
He narrated what happened during the “Great Lead Forward,"
“Countryside Steel Production," “People’s Commune,"
“High-Yield Farms," “Social Education Movement,"
“Against the Three Evils," and the “Cultural Revolution,"
as well as people died due to starvation, abuse and beating.

Kong Lingping: “I was in prison for a total of 20 years,
sentenced to death twice. Those who fought with me against the tyranny of Mao Zedong are all dead now. Five people were executed; five passed away.
I wanted to document the history truthfully.

Although it is about my personal experience, it also reflects
the struggles of those rightists who were exiled.

Kong Lingping said, Bloody Records includes the voices
and hopes of those youth with aspirations.
He spent 25 years honing his literary skills, and finally
finished it on the 100th Anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution.

Kong Lingping expressed that this book can used for
historic studies of China from 1949 to 2010.
It also provides information on the CCP’s dictatorship
to those abroad, who do not know the truth about China.

Guangxi Province online writer Jing Chu said that

some “rightists"died due to being beaten during those times.
Their whole families fell apart.

Jing Chu: “Many people died like this.

For example, only 200 survived out of a group of 500
sent to the labor re-education camp.
Half of them were beaten to death,
half died due to starvation and torture.

Part Two of Bloody Records is about a group of
college students who were separated during the
“Proletariat Dictatorship",
due to their innocence and political naivety.
Kong exposed the brutality of the dictatorship. He writes about
the greed, selfishness and cruelty of prison guards.

Kong Lingping: “Sometime I think about why I survived.
I realized what heaven’s arrangements cannot be changed.
Therefore, I realized my responsibility – to document my
experiences and the darkest time of the CCP history.

The final part of Bloody Records has 12 chapters,
documenting the Deng Xiaoping era,
the process of the CCP’s “Redressing the Wrongs"
and the contradictions and pain it caused the victims.

Jing Chu: “No one mentions the term ‘Rightist’ now.
It is called “correction,"instead of “rehabilitation."
Deng Xiaoping was the overall leader of the
“anti-rightist" movement!"

Kong also told NTD that Chongqing Public Security staff
visited him in October 2010 and March 2011,
and told him not to publish this book.

Kong Lingping: “I am determined to publish this book.
The CCP can ban it in China, but it cannot ban it overseas.
It does not have the authority to ban it outside China.
I am very clear about it.
I wrote an article called Public Security Staff Visited Me.

Kong says Mao Zedong’s crimes and killing cannot be erased.
He has all the records and these are vivid in his mind.

Kong Lingping calls on Chinese people to stand up against
the CCP’s terror and cleanse the disasters brought by Mao.
He also calls the people to face the past and the future
and fight for a democracy.
